We are a fellowship of Christians who hold to the traditional belief statements of the Christian Church.
As evangelical Christians we believe that the only reliable knowledge about God is found in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible and we are committed to Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. With God's help we seek to live out what we believe in today's world.
We recognise as fellow Christians, all who show by what they say and do, that they accept what God has done for them in the Lord Jesus Christ and are living as his followers.
This is what we believe.
Lode Chapel is situated in the village of Lode, about 7 miles north-east of Cambridge.
Originally founded in 1832, it was reconstituted in accordance with its original trust deed in 1991, when it became independent of Eden Baptist Church, Cambridge. See our brief history of the Chapel for more details.
The chapel took formal membership of the Baptist Union in 1998.
